What Actually Works in an ACL Rehab Plan

Work with the ACL specialist who doesn’t have to convince you to work with them.

Read that again.

Because I genuinely wish more people thought like that when it comes to ACL rehab.

The Problem With ACL Rehab Right Now

ACL rehab is being overcomplicated… and at the same time completely underdelivered.

Every week I see it:

  • People paying hundreds per month
  • Being given random exercises
  • No clear progression
  • No real plan

And then wondering why their knee still doesn’t feel right months later.

There’s been a huge rise in “ACL experts” online.

Some have been through one rehab themselves… and suddenly they’re charging £300–£1500 per month for coaching.

But here’s the truth:

If someone has to convince you to work with them… you should question why.

The best clinicians don’t need to chase clients.
They get results, and people come to them.

Why ACL Patients Fall Into This Trap

I get it.

You’ve had a serious knee injury.
Maybe surgery.
You just want your life back.

So you:

  • Buy equipment (ice machines, Compex, braces)
  • Search for exercises
  • Ask questions in DMs
  • Try to piece things together yourself

But what are you actually doing?

 Guessing.

And guessing with an ACL rehab is where people get stuck.

Random Exercises = Random Results

This is the biggest mistake I see.

People think they just need:

  • “a few good exercises”
  • “a better gym plan”

But ACL rehab doesn’t work like that.

You don’t need fancy exercises.
You don’t need complicated equipment.

You need:

  • Structure
  • Progression based on your knee (not time)
  • Clear testing before moving forward

Because doing the right exercise at the wrong time…
is still the wrong rehab.

What Actually Works in ACL Rehab

Good ACL rehab isn’t random it’s structured.

It should follow a clear progression:

  • Early stage → regain extension, flexion, quad activation
  • Mid stage → build strength and control
  • Later stage → single leg strength, running, and sport prep

And most importantly:

You only progress when you pass the right criteria

Not because it’s been “6 weeks”
Not because someone said you “should be ready”

But because your knee has actually earned it.

The Harsh Reality

You can keep:

  • Asking for random exercises
  • Jumping between advice online
  • Trying bits and pieces each week

And hoping something works.

Or…

You can follow a plan that actually gives your rehab direction.

Why I Created My ACL Rehab Guide

I made my Complete ACL Recovery Guide because I wish I had it all those years ago.

My own knee journey wasn’t great.
The care I got wasn’t good.

And now?

I’m fully booked months ahead.

I physically can’t help everyone 1–1.

So instead of watching people:

  • get stuck
  • get frustrated
  • or get ripped off

I built something that gives you:

  • A clear step-by-step plan
  • Progression based on testing
  • Strength targets
  • Running and return-to-sport structure
  • Video demonstrations for every exercise

No guesswork.

A Better Way to Approach Your ACL Rehab

You don’t need:

  • More random exercises
  • More opinions
  • Another monthly subscription

You need clarity.

You need structure.

You need to know exactly what to do next  and when.

Final Thought

If nothing changes… nothing changes.

You can keep guessing.

Or you can follow a plan that actually works.

If you’re serious about your ACL rehab, my Complete ACL Recovery Guide is there when you’re ready.
